What is the Akkutrailer?

The Akkutrailer is a mobile battery storage trailer that delivers up to 240 kWh of storage and up to 240 kW of DC fast charging. Built by Akkutrailer GmbH in Germany, it provides silent, zero-emission power wherever the grid is limited or unavailable: a direct replacement for diesel generators.

It is a modular system. The Akkuboard is a detachable platform with the batteries built in, and a cargo deck that carries e-bikes, compressors, drones, machinery and other equipment. On that deck you can mount an Akkucube, an add-on battery pack that extends capacity — or leave it off for payload. Its patented quick-swap system lets the Akkuboard mount onto or detach from any standard hooklift trailer without cranes or external machinery. The Akkutrailer is used for EV fast charging, construction and communal works, events, and military and humanitarian field operations.

The Akkuboard is a detachable platform with batteries built in and a cargo deck that hauls e-bikes, compressors, drones, or machinery. On that same deck you can mount an Akkucube to add battery capacity, or leave it open for payload. Mounted on the trailer chassis, they form the complete Akkutrailer.

The Akkuboard is a detachable transport platform with the batteries built into it. Its deck carries payload — e-bikes, compressors, drones, machinery and equipment — and it slides on and off the trailer with no crane required.

Ukraine Deployment 2025

In 2025, we donated one of our Akkutrailers to a Ukrainian demining battalion in Kamianets-Podilskyi. There, the system has been utilized for training purposes, as a grid buffer, and — most importantly — as a critical charging hub for various types of UGVs and drones.
